I think this picture is a good start! Meet my husband Charles, he does his best to keep a smile on my face! I'm not what he signed up for, my "baggage" that is.
We lead a happy life on a small farm where we raise chickens, ducks, rabbits and quail along with our 4 dogs, Boomer Boy, Guss Guss, Marley Rae and Sissy Kae! We have 7 children and currently (I say this because our kids are not done!) 17 (<<<that is not a typo) grandchildren! Life is never dull when you have a family this size, you should see Christmas!
Come with me on this journey of healing and you'll understand why it takes someone strong enough to bear my "baggage" as well as my husband does. Emotional abuse, verbal abuse, physical abuse are just some of the triggers he deals with. Mental Health is REAL, PTSD is REAL. I've lived a life of believing that was just labels created to make you feel good or to give a reason why. Once you accept the how and the why, your journey begins. What's in your bag?
